If free-falling sounds like your thing, drop into the Foam Zone; the sense of weightlessness can be downright dreamy. Reservations are recommended, and you can reserve from 30 minutes to two hours of time on the tramps. White Elephant ― New to the Packing House as of September 2020 with a delicious take on Thai food. Be sure to give them a warm Anaheim welcome during your next visit. Head down to the MAKE Building, one of the newest additions to the district. Previously a marmalade factory built in 1917, the MAKE Building is now home to local favorites such as Unsung Brewing Company, Pali Wine Company, and Tacos El Gringo.

You might balk at the nearly $5 price, but it's a fun, novelty item, and if you make the right choices in your combination, they're pretty damn delicious. You can also wash that down with some coffee (and get your froth art on) from Cafecito Organico, which we have storefronts of in Silver Lake and Malibu out here in L.A. Real deal chef Lai ran the kitchen at the Fashion Island Hotel and he was chef de cuisine at Watertable at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort  & Spa before that. He’s kept a few favorites on the menu and added new dishes. For now there are earthy rabbit meatballs ($15) with basil tomato sauce, queso fresco and ciabatta.

Speaking of secrets, I haven’t mentioned the one hiding in plain sight in this landmark building. Dare I reveal it or should I keep what may very well be my favorite non-Disney place in Anaheim to myself? As a fan of repurposed breakfast options, I was a big fan of the “Cereal Killer,” a pie that has a cereal crust, and a filling made with a cream cheese base packed with Fruity Pebbles and then topped with Froot Loops. They also have more traditional items as well, like an Apple Crumble Pie, Pumpkin, Pecan, Blueberry, Cherry, etc. all with their own unique twists.

One of the Packing House’s most popular vendors is the Black Sheep Grilled Cheese Bar, which offers 10 different styles of grilled cheese. Black Sheep fanatics will all agree that the Garden Goat Sandwich is a must-try. For comfort food options like cheese fries, pork chops, fried chicken, and more, head to Georgia's Soul Food. Seafood fanatics will be more than impressed with Kettlebar, which is known best for its delectable steamed oysters.

(Pitch black. Seriously. I don’t think that Rabbit was blind when he started working here.) Rummage sale furnishings and an analog soundtrack of jazzy vocals by Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Nina Simone. The Blind Rabbit  has always been a go-to for fashion-forward cocktails in hip surroundings. Relative newcomer Mangal, which arrived two years ago, quickly established its own following. It’s the fast casual version of big sister restaurant Aleppo’s Kitchen which was voted one of the best places to eat near Disneyland by Food & Wine magazine in 2017. Please check with individual establishments for current hours of operation.

Balloon, signs and decorations are not permitted within the Packing District.

One of my favorites is SEED or browsing the dried flowers truck that sits on the top level near Popbar. Hammer Bar is another great spot with beautiful craft cocktails and a more lively seating area. The Blind Rabbit is hands-down the best cocktail bar in the Anaheim Packing District in my opinion, but you’ll need reservations and it’s a very small, intimate space.

Allstate says it will insure California homes again, under one condition

And now there's a reinvigorated central shopping and dining area, making Anaheim an outstanding destination for everyone from families to foodies. Plus, Anaheim's easy access to the rest of Southern California makes it a great place to start your next California holiday. With a huge selection of unique cheeses topped with your choice of bacon, fresh tomatoes, meats, and more, Black Sheep Grilled Cheese Bar makes the only grilled cheese that comes close to mom’s grilled cheese. The art throughout the building even pays homage to the past replicating old citrus labels. Once inside, visitors will find, for lack of a better phrase, an arena of options. To the left you have coffee or boba tea, while to the right you have craft beer or Thai.

Experience Mexican cuisine with a fine dining flair at Urbana (pictured above), an award-winning restaurant serving gourmet tacos, hand-crafted cocktails, and fresh ceviches. Head over to Adya and dive into flavorful street-food-style Indian food, including Chicken Tikka Masala or Tandoori Chicken. Maybe you need an end-of-day break after 10 hours of meetings in the Anaheim Convention Center. Or perhaps you’re looking for a place to take the kids after a day of princesses and parades at Disneyland Resort. Anaheim GardenWalk, a sleek outdoor complex of shops and eateries, makes an appealing destination, especially after dark, when things like outdoor fire pits and entertainment venues spring to life. There aren’t many places where you can visit an old-fashioned barbershop while enjoying a local craft beer, but that's what’s on tap at Barbeer—just one of the trendy stores at Center Street Promenade.

However, some State or local governments have laws that allow people to take emotional support animals into public places. You may check with your State and local government agencies to find out about these laws. In the 1980s, a growing number of people from Middle Eastern and North African countries settled in sunny Anaheim. Today they operate stores and eateries, many clustered in West Anaheim. This is the place to go for the enticing cuisines of Lebanon, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia—as well as Armenia—often at very affordable prices. The Packing District complex goes beyond building makeovers with Farmers Park, an inviting two-acre space with room to stroll and relax.

You’ll also notice an abundance of phones and cameras out, and while we have no official statement confirming this, every food item here seems to be designed with Instagram in mind. We even got a peek at the Disneyland fireworks going off from Farmer’s Park, which was a fun way to end the night. Hans’ Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Hole are other great snacks that will satisfy any sweet tooth. Self-parking is available in the Packing House lot and lot on Claudina, just south of the Packing House. I typically use street parking in the surrounding area within a few blocks. If you choose to park on the public street, just be aware of the parking restrictions and posted signage.

Add color to your day and spice to your plate when you visit Urbana at the Anaheim Packing House. The first thing you will notice is the vibrant decor, bringing Dia de los Muertos vibes to Anaheim year-round. Next, you’ll be delighted by the farm-fresh Mexican plates like Red Snapper Ceviche or Pork Belly Tacos. It’s always tequila and Taco Tuesday, especially when you score one free Carnitas or Cauliflower Taco with the Sip, Savor and Shop Pass. This award-winning restaurant features a menu full of gourmet tacos, chef specials and hand-crafted cocktails. Pair their Spicy Margarita with an Al Pastor and Filet Mignon Tacos to ensure a superb visit at Urbana.

The BXCR Wine Bar is another popular watering hole that offers guests a unique and secluded experience. BXCR serves guests wine and classic cocktails in a box-car inspired setting. With restaurants serving national favorites, unusual treasures in shops, and fascinating cultural sites, these communities create an easy way to explore a world of cultures in a relatively small area.

Food that feeds your soul is on the menu at Georgia’s Restaurant. Get the home-cooked comfort foods just like grandma used to make like Fried Chicken with buttermilk and an all-seasoned cornmeal crust. Make it brunch-able with the Chicken & Waffles meal topped with syrup. It’s perfectly paired any time of day with mac & cheese or baked beans.

Zabon Ramen ― Ramen served with a generous mound of fresh vegetables and melt-in-your-mouth charred chashu (Japanese braised pork belly). Hammer Workshop & Bar serves delicious craft cocktails and award-winning craft beer, all with an amazing view of the Anaheim Packing House. Rolling Boil offers a wide variety of soup broths, from vegetarian to spicy mixes and a multitude of dipping sauces.

Please note that the Packing District is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Food is a bit on the pricier side here, but you're also paying for the ambiance. You could easily spend a few hours here exploring the different foodie options.
